Jetson Nano AI robot technology powers the XR-HEXAPOD-J2, a six-leg autonomous bionic platform designed for AI vision, SLAM navigation, and STEM education. The Jetson Nano main processor delivers powerful GPU acceleration for real-time computer vision and machine-learning applications. The robot’s 18 high-torque servo motors mimic insect-like gait movement, providing precise balance and multi-axis coordination through advanced inverse kinematics.
AI vision camera captures HD video and processes image data through OpenCV and TensorFlow models for object recognition, color tracking, and pattern classification. SLAM navigation combines IMU attitude sensing and ultrasonic range data for mapping and path optimization in unknown environments. ROS middleware provides a modular software framework for node communication, real-time sensor fusion, and path planning simulation in Gazebo and RViz.
The bionic chassis constructed from CNC aluminum and acrylic offers rigidity and light weight for precise servo alignment.
